Produções da Disney são indicadas ao NAACP Image Awards

A lista de indicados ao 53rd NAACP Image Awards foi divulgada, nessa terça-feira (18), e várias produções da The Walt Disney Company concorrerão a prêmios. Dentre elas, o destaque ficou por conta de “black-ish”, que recebeu mais de cinco indicações. “Raya e o Último Dragão” foi nomeado em duas categorias: “Melhor Animação” e “Melhor Dublagem”. “Encanto” e “Luca” também disputarão para ver qual foi o melhor desenho animado de 2021. Outros indicados foram “This Is Us”, “Falcão e o Soldado Invernal”, “Genius: Aretha”, “Nine Perfect Strangers”, “Raven’s Home” e “The Disney Launchpad: Short Incubator”.

Ariana DeBose, que, recentemente, ganhou o Globo de Ouro como “Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante em Musical” por sua participação em “West Side Story”, vai concorrer a um prêmio. A Pixar foi indicada com o curta-metragem “Twenty Something”, e a Walt Disney Animation, com “Us Again”.

A cerimônia de entrega dos prêmios ocorrerá no dia 26 de fevereiro e será apresentada por Anthony Anderson. “Nós estamos satisfeitos em reconhecer os artistas que nos deram diversas formas de entretenimento, no último ano, e chamaram nossa atenção através de seu trabalho no cinema, televisão, música e muito mais”, afirmou Karen Boykin-Towns, Presidente do “Image Awards Committee”.
